Scripture

The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!" The Lord replied, "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you." Luke 17:5-6 (NIV)

Look at this tiny seed! This is a mustard seed. It's so small! Can you see it? It's teeny tiny! God made this little seed.

Jesus told his friends about this little seed. Jesus said, "If you believe in God like this tiny seed, God can do big things!" Big, big things! God is so strong!

One man read about the seed. He saw a big tree. He said, "Tree, go away!" But the tree stayed. Do you know why? The man didn't really believe God could move it. He didn't have faith like the tiny seed.

Jesus wants us to believe in God. Even if our faith is tiny like this seed, God can do amazing things! God is bigger than trees! God is bigger than everything!

We don't need big faith. We just need little faith in our big God! God loves us so much. When we believe in God, He can do wonderful things!

Let's pray: Dear God, help us believe in You like the tiny mustard seed. You are so big and strong! We love You, God. Amen.
