What do you think happens? Sometimes we want what we can't have, right?
God made a beautiful garden for Adam and Eve. So pretty! God said, "You can eat fruit from ALL the trees! But not this one tree. This tree is not good for you."
A sneaky snake came to Eve. Snakes go "hissss!" The snake said, "Eat the fruit! It's yummy!"
Eve looked at the fruit. She wanted it. She took a bite! Then Adam took a bite too! Uh oh!
Adam and Eve felt sad. They hid from God. God was sad too. He said, "You didn't listen to me. Now you have to leave my garden."
Sometimes we don't listen too. Sometimes we take toys that aren't ours. Sometimes we don't share. But God still loves us!
God wants us to make good choices. When we listen to God, we are happy! When we don't listen, we feel sad.
Let's pray! Dear God, help us listen to you. Help us make good choices. We love you! Amen.
