Back to School (Preschool Adaptation)

Do you go to school? School is fun! You learn new things at school. You have a teacher who helps you learn.

Jesus had friends called disciples. Jesus was their teacher! Jesus taught them about God. One day, Jesus asked his friends a question.

"Who am I?" Jesus asked his friends.

His friends said different things. Some said, "You are John!" Some said, "You are Elijah!" They were trying to guess!

Then Peter said, "You are God's Son! You are Jesus!" Peter knew the right answer!

Jesus was so happy! "Yes, Peter! I am God's Son!" Jesus said.

Do you know who Jesus is? Jesus is God's Son! Jesus loves you so much. When someone asks, "Who is Jesus?" you can say, "Jesus is God's Son!"

Let's say it together: "Jesus is God's Son!" Say it again: "Jesus is God's Son!" Good job!

Jesus loves you. You can tell your friends that Jesus is God's Son too.

Dear God, help us remember that Jesus is your Son. Help us tell our friends about Jesus. We love you, God. Amen.
