Look at this paper clip! Do you think it will float in the water? Let's try! (Put paper towel on water, then put paper clip on top. The paper towel will sink but the paper clip floats!) Wow! The paper clip is floating! That's so cool!

Sometimes things happen that seem impossible, but they're real! Just like our story about Jesus today.
After Jesus died on the cross, his friends were very sad. They were hiding in a room. Then something amazing happened! Jesus came to see them! He was alive again! His friends were so happy to see Jesus.
But one friend named Thomas wasn't there. When the other friends told Thomas "We saw Jesus! He's alive!" Thomas said "No way! I don't believe you. I need to see Jesus myself."
A week later, Thomas was with his friends. Guess what happened? Jesus came again! Jesus said to Thomas, "Look, it's really me! Touch my hands. Now do you believe?" Thomas was so excited! He said "Jesus! You're really alive!"
Jesus said something very special. He said "Thomas, you believe because you can see me. But some people will believe in me even when they can't see me. Those people are very special to me."
We can't see Jesus with our eyes right now, but we can believe in our hearts that Jesus loves us! We can believe Jesus is real even though we can't see him. That makes Jesus very happy!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, help us believe you love us even though we can't see you. We love you! Amen.
