Do you know what a list is? A list helps us remember things we need to do! Mommy and Daddy make lists too. Let me show you some fun things we might do:

Some things are fun and easy! Some things are harder. But guess what? There's one very special thing that should always come first. Do you know what it is? Following Jesus!
One day, Jesus was walking with his friends. A man said, "Jesus, I want to follow you!"
Jesus said, "Following me is very important, but it's not always easy."
Another man said, "Jesus, I want to follow you too, but first I need to do other things."
Jesus said, "Following me should come first. It's the most important thing!"
Jesus wants us to follow him too! That means loving Jesus, being kind like Jesus, and listening to Jesus. Following Jesus should be number one on our list!
We can play and eat and have fun, but the most special thing is following Jesus. Jesus loves us so much! Let's put Jesus first every day.
Dear Jesus, we want to follow you! Help us remember that you are the most important. We love you, Jesus. Amen.
