A few weeks ago, we learned about baby Jesus! Remember baby Jesus? He was born in a stable with the animals - moo, moo! Mary and Joseph loved baby Jesus so much. The wise men came to see baby Jesus too. They brought presents!

Now baby Jesus grew up! He got bigger and bigger, just like you! Jesus became a big man. One day, Jesus went to see his friend John at the river. Splash, splash in the water!

John was baptizing people in the river. That means he helped them go under the water and come back up! Jesus said, "John, I want to be baptized too!" John was surprised. "Really, Jesus? You want me to baptize you?"

Jesus said, "Yes! God wants me to be baptized." So John said, "Okay!" And John baptized Jesus in the river. Down under the water, then back up! Splash!

When Jesus came up from the water, something amazing happened! God's Spirit came down like a beautiful dove. *flap arms like wings* Flap, flap, flap! And God's voice said from heaven, "This is my son Jesus! I love him so much!"

God was so happy with Jesus! Jesus did what God wanted him to do. We can do what God wants us to do too! We can be kind. We can share our toys. We can help mommy and daddy. God loves us too!

Let's pray together! Dear God, help us be like Jesus. Help us do good things. We love you! Amen!
