Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23 (NIV)
Look at this picture! This is my mommy. I love my mommy so much! Do you love your mommy? Yes! Mommies like when we say "I love you!" But guess what? Mommies like it even MORE when we show them we love them!

How can we show mommy we love her? Let's think of some ways!
- Put our toys away
- Help mommy cook
- Give mommy a big hug
- Listen when mommy talks
- Make mommy a picture
- Be nice to our brother or sister
- Say "please" and "thank you"
When we do these good things, it makes mommy so happy! It shows her we love her!
Do you love Jesus? Yes! Jesus likes when we say "I love you Jesus!" But Jesus likes it even MORE when we show Him we love Him! How do we show Jesus we love Him? We listen to what Jesus says. We do good things. We are kind. We share our toys. We help others.
So remember - tell your mommy "I love you!" AND show her by being good! Tell Jesus "I love you!" AND show Him by doing good things!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, we love you so much! Help us show our mommies and show you that we love you by being good. Amen.
