Do you have a friend? Friends are fun! Today we learn about Jesus and his friend. His friend's name was Lazarus.

Jesus loves his friends. Jesus loves you too! Jesus is the best friend ever.
One day, Lazarus got very sick. His sisters Mary and Martha were sad. They told Jesus, "Please come help our brother!"
Jesus came to see his friends. But when Jesus got there, Lazarus had died. Mary and Martha were crying. Jesus was sad too.
Jesus went to where Lazarus was sleeping. There was a big stone in front. Jesus said, "Move the stone away!"
Then Jesus prayed to God. Jesus said in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"
Guess what happened? Lazarus came out! He was alive! He wasn't sick anymore! Mary and Martha were so happy!
Jesus can do amazing things! Jesus loves his friends. Jesus loves you too!
Let's sing about Jesus our friend:
Jesus is my friend,
I love him, I love him!
Jesus is my friend,
I love him!
Jesus is your best friend forever! He loves you so much!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for being our friend. Thank you for loving us. We love you too! Amen.
