Look at this picture! (Hold up a print of "The Peaceable Kingdom".) Do you see animals? Point to the animals!

I see a big lion! Do you see the lion? I see a little lamb! Do you see the lamb? The lion and lamb are friends in this picture!
Look! There are children in the picture too! The children are petting the big animals. The animals are being nice and gentle.
Do lions and lambs play together? No! Lions are big and scary! But in this special picture, they are friends!
This picture shows us something very special. It shows us what happens when Jesus comes! Jesus makes everyone friends. Jesus brings peace!
Jesus is coming! That's why we celebrate! Jesus wants all of us to be kind friends too.
Let's be kind like Jesus! Can you give your friend a hug? Can you share your toys? That's what Jesus wants!

Dear God, help us be kind friends. Thank you for sending Jesus. We love you! Amen.
