Activities + Resources
Look! This is a remote control! You push buttons and the TV listens! Let's play!
When I say a button, you do what the TV does! Ready?
Turn on! (jump up and wave)
Play! (clap and dance)
Loud! (stomp your feet)
Quiet! (put finger on lips)
Fast! (run in place)
Slow! (move like a turtle)
-
Stop! (freeze like a statue)
Turn off! (sit down and close eyes)
Good job! The remote control tells the TV what to do, and the TV listens!
Jesus has special power too! Jesus can tell bad things to go away, and they listen to Jesus!
One day, Jesus met a sad man. A bad spirit was making the man feel yucky. Jesus said, "Bad spirit, GO AWAY!" And guess what? The bad spirit had to listen to Jesus! It went away! The man felt happy again!
Everyone was so surprised! They said, "Wow! Even bad things have to listen to Jesus!"
Jesus wants to take care of you too! Jesus loves you so much! He wants to help you make good choices. He wants to keep you safe and happy.
When we let Jesus help us, good things happen! Jesus knows what's best for little boys and girls like you!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, we love you! Please help us every day. We want to listen to you because you love us. Amen.
