Be Careful Who You Follow (Preschool Adaptation)

Let's play a fun game! I will touch my nose and say "nose." You touch your nose too! Ready?

"Nose, nose, nose!" (Touch your nose three times.) Good job!

Now I will say "mouth" but I will touch my ear. You touch your mouth - not your ear! Listen to what I say!

"Nose, nose, nose, mouth!" (Touch your nose, then touch your ear when you say "mouth.")

Did you touch your mouth? Great! Sometimes games try to trick us. That's okay in games - it's fun!

But Jesus tells us to be careful. Some people might try to trick us about God. They might say things that aren't true about Jesus.

Jesus loves us very much. Jesus wants us to learn about Him from the Bible. The Bible tells us true things about Jesus.

When we read Bible stories, we learn about Jesus. When mommy and daddy read to us, we learn about Jesus. Jesus is good. Jesus loves children. Jesus loves you!

We don't want to be tricked. We want to know the real Jesus from the Bible.

Let's pray: Dear God, help us learn about Jesus. Help mommy and daddy read Bible stories to us. We love Jesus. Amen.
