Activities + Resources
Do you like to ride bikes or scooters? When we ride, we need to wear a helmet to keep our head safe! We also wear knee pads to keep our knees safe. This gear helps protect us so we don't get hurt.
God wants to protect us too! The Bible tells us that God gives us special protection called armor. It's like invisible protection that keeps us safe from bad things.
Let's learn about God's armor! First, we have the belt of truth. Truth means telling what really happened. God wants us to always tell the truth. When we tell the truth, we are safe!
Next is the chest protector of doing good. When we are kind and share our toys, we are doing good things. God is happy when we do good!
We also have special shoes of peace. Peace means being calm and happy. When we feel scared, we can remember that Jesus loves us and that makes us feel peaceful.
God gives us a big shield of faith. Faith means believing in Jesus even when we can't see Him. Jesus is always with us!
We wear a helmet of being saved. Jesus came to save us because He loves us so much. Jesus keeps us safe!
Last, we have a sword which is the Bible. The Bible tells us about God's love. When we hear Bible stories, we learn about God!
Just like we wear helmets when we ride bikes, God gives us His armor every day to keep us safe. God loves us and protects us!
Dear God, thank you for keeping us safe every day. Help us remember that You love us and protect us. We love You, Jesus. Amen.
