He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12 (NIV)
Look! I have milk! (Hold up cup and pretend to drink) Mmm, yummy! Milk is good for me. Milk helps me grow big and strong! My teeth get strong. My bones get strong. Milk is good!
Do you like milk? Yes! Milk makes us healthy. Milk makes us grow. When we drink milk, we get bigger and stronger every day!
I want to tell you about someone even MORE important than milk. Do you know who Jesus is? Jesus loves you SO much! Jesus is God's son. Jesus is the best friend you can have!
Jesus wants to be YOUR friend. When Jesus is your friend, you have something very special. You have Jesus in your heart! Jesus gives you love. Jesus gives you joy. Jesus takes care of you!
Let me ask you something important: Do you have Jesus? If you love Jesus, then YES! You have Jesus in your heart. Jesus loves you. You love Jesus. That makes Jesus so happy!
When you have Jesus, you have the best thing ever. Better than toys. Better than candy. Better than anything! Jesus is the best!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for loving us. We love you too. Amen.
