Activities + Resources
Do you know what a sheep says? Baa! Baa! Let's all say "Baa!" Sheep are fluffy and white. They like to stay together in a big group.
Sheep have a special friend called a shepherd. The shepherd takes care of the sheep every day. He gives them food. He gives them water. He keeps them safe. The shepherd loves his sheep very much!
Jesus told a story about sheep and a shepherd. In the story, the sheep know their shepherd's voice. When the shepherd calls "Come here, sheep!" the sheep come running. They know he loves them. But if a stranger calls to them, the sheep run away! They only follow their good shepherd.
Do you know what? Jesus is like the good shepherd, and we are like the sheep! Jesus loves us so much. He takes care of us every day. He gives us food to eat. He gives us water to drink. He keeps us safe. Jesus wants us to be happy and healthy.
Sometimes other people might try to trick us. But we should listen to Jesus! Jesus always tells us what is good and right. Jesus loves us more than anyone!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for being our good shepherd. We love you! Help us follow you every day. Amen.
Remember: Jesus is our good shepherd, and we are his little sheep! Baa! Baa!
