A New Life in Jesus (Preschool Adaptation)

Do you like new things? New toys are fun! (Show new toys and let children touch them.) You got new toys for Christmas! That was exciting!

Today we learn about something very special and new. Jesus gives us a new beginning! A new beginning means starting fresh, like a clean piece of paper.

In the Bible, there was a man named John. John told people about Jesus. John helped people get clean in the water. This is called baptism. Baptism shows that Jesus makes our hearts clean.

Even Jesus got baptized! John put Jesus in the water. Jesus came up clean and happy. God was very happy too!

When we love Jesus, He makes our hearts clean too. Jesus gives us a new beginning. That means Jesus loves us and helps us be good.

Baptism is like taking a special bath. It shows everyone that we love Jesus. Jesus makes us clean inside our hearts.

Jesus loves you so much! He wants to give you a new beginning too. When we say sorry to Jesus, He forgives us. That means He's not mad anymore. Jesus makes everything new!
