Do you know what a beep-beep sound is? *make beeping sound* That's a smoke alarm! It goes BEEP BEEP BEEP when there's smoke. The smoke alarm helps keep us safe. It tells us "Get out! Get out!" if there's a fire.

Jesus wants us to be ready for Him too! Just like we keep our smoke alarm ready, we need to keep our hearts ready for Jesus. We can pray to Jesus every day. We can sing songs about Jesus. We can listen to Bible stories about Jesus.
Jesus loves us so much! He might come back one day. We don't know when, but that's okay! We can be ready by loving Jesus every day. We pray, we sing, we listen to Bible stories. That keeps our hearts ready for Jesus!
Let's all be ready! Ready smoke alarms keep us safe from fire. Ready hearts keep us close to Jesus!
