Do you have a doggy at home? Dogs love to eat! They eat dog food from their bowls. But sometimes doggies want our food too! They sit by the table and look at us with big eyes. They hope some food will drop on the floor for them!
Jesus loved everyone! First, Jesus came to help his special people. But other people wanted Jesus to help them too.
One day, a mommy came to Jesus. Her little girl was sick. The mommy said, "Jesus, please help my little girl!"
Jesus said, "I came to help my special people first."
But the mommy didn't give up! She said, "Please, Jesus! Even doggies get little pieces of food that fall down!"
Jesus was so happy! The mommy really believed Jesus could help. Jesus said, "Your little girl is all better now!"
Jesus loves everyone! Jesus loves you! Jesus loves me! Even though Jesus came for his special people first, he loves all of us too. We can sit close to Jesus like a happy puppy. Jesus gives us his love!
Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me! Thank you for loving everyone! Help me love you too. Amen.
