Growing in Faith (Preschool Adaptation)

Look at this special book! It has pictures of a baby. This baby is so little and cute! Mommy and Daddy love their baby so much.

But guess what? The baby doesn't stay little forever! The baby grows bigger and bigger. First crawling, then walking, then running and playing! Growing up is so exciting!

Do you know what baptism is? Baptism is when someone goes in the water to show they love Jesus. When they come out of the water, they are like a baby who loves Jesus. God is so happy! God says "I love you!"

But God wants us to grow too! Not just our bodies, but our hearts that love Jesus. We can grow by being kind to friends. We can grow by sharing our toys. We can grow by saying prayers. We can grow by listening to Bible stories.

God loves us when we're little babies who love Jesus. And God loves us when we grow bigger in loving Jesus too! Let's grow and grow in loving Jesus!

Dear God, help us grow big and strong in loving Jesus. Amen.
