Let's all stand up! Stand up tall like a big tree! Now bend down and look at the floor. That's hard to do for a long time, isn't it? You can stand up now!

There was a lady who couldn't stand up tall. She had to look down at the ground all the time. For eighteen whole years! That's a very, very long time. She was very sad.
One day, Jesus saw the sad lady. Jesus loves everyone! Jesus said, "Lady, you are all better now!" And guess what? The lady could stand up tall! She was so happy! She said, "Thank you, God! Thank you, Jesus!"
But some people were not happy. They said, "Jesus should not help people today." That made Jesus sad. Jesus said, "I always help people when they need help. Every day is a good day to help!"
Jesus loves us so much! He wants us to help our friends too. When someone is sad, we can give them a hug. When someone falls down, we can help them up. When someone is hungry, we can share our snacks.
Let's pray together: Dear Jesus, thank you for loving us. Help us be kind helpers like you. Help us share and care every day. Amen.
