Escritura

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1 (NVI)

There was a little boy who wanted to play music! He asked his mommy and daddy, "Can I have a trumpet? Please?" But mommy and daddy said, "We need to think about it."

The little boy asked again the next day. "Can I have a trumpet? Please?" Mommy and daddy said, "We are still thinking."

The boy kept asking. "Can I have a trumpet? Please? Please?" He asked many times!

Finally, mommy and daddy said, "Yes! Let's go get your trumpet!" They went to the store and bought the shiny trumpet. The little boy was so happy!

The boy played his trumpet every day. He played in the school band. He loved music so much!

Do you know what? God is like our mommy and daddy. When we ask God for things, we can ask Him many times! We can say, "Please God, help me!" We can say it again and again.

Jesus said we should keep praying. Keep asking God! God loves us so much. He hears us when we pray.

Sometimes God says yes. Sometimes God says wait. But God always loves us!

Let's pray together: Dear God, thank you for loving us. Help us remember to pray to you every day. We love you, God! Amen.
