The "Bee-Attitudes" (Preschool Adaptation)

What makes you happy? Do you like to play with toys? Do you like hugs from mommy and daddy? We all like to be happy!

Did you know that God wants you to be happy too? Yes! God loves you so much and wants you to smile and be happy.

One day, Jesus sat on a big hill. He talked to his friends about being happy. Jesus said some special things about happiness.

Jesus said: "Be happy when you share your toys, because God loves when you share."

"Be happy when you help mommy and daddy, because God loves helpers."

"Be happy when you are kind to your friends, because God loves kindness."

"Be happy when you say 'I'm sorry,' because God loves when we make things right."

"Be happy when you give hugs, because God loves when we love others."

"Be happy when you pray to God, because God always listens to you."

You see, being happy isn't just about getting new toys or yummy treats. Being happy comes from having God in your heart! When we love God and love others, we can be happy like a buzzing bee - buzz, buzz, buzz!

Let's be happy because God loves us so much. We can share, help, be kind, and give hugs. That makes God happy too!

Dear God, thank you for loving us. Help us to be happy by loving you and loving others. Help us share and be kind. We love you, God. Amen.
