Jesus loves you! Jesus wants to be your friend. Jesus can make you new and special!
Look! I have a pretty butterfly! See the pretty colors? Red, yellow, blue! The butterfly is so pretty!
But guess what? The butterfly wasn't always pretty. First, it was a little caterpillar. A caterpillar is like a fuzzy worm. Crawl, crawl, crawl goes the caterpillar!
Then something amazing happens! The caterpillar goes to sleep in a special blanket called a cocoon. Sleep, sleep, sleep. When it wakes up - SURPRISE! It's not a caterpillar anymore! It's a beautiful butterfly! Flap, flap, flap go the pretty wings!
The caterpillar became something new! Something beautiful! Something special!
That's what Jesus does for us! When we love Jesus and ask Him into our hearts, He makes us new too! He makes us special! He makes us beautiful inside!
Jesus loves you so much! He wants to make you new and special, just like the butterfly!
Let's pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for loving us! Please come into our hearts and make us new and special like the pretty butterfly! We love you, Jesus! Amen.
