Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Preschool)

Do you like to watch TV shows? There are funny shows and singing shows and many different shows! What show do you like best?

One day, Jesus was walking down the road. A young man ran up to Jesus. The man had lots and lots of money. He had many toys and many things.

"Jesus!" said the man. "What do I need to do to be with God forever?"

Jesus said, "You know God's rules. Be kind. Tell the truth. Listen to Mommy and Daddy."

"I do all those things!" said the man.

Jesus loved the young man. But Jesus said something that made the man very sad. Jesus said, "Give away all your money and toys to people who need them. Then come follow me."

The man walked away very sad. He loved his money and toys more than he loved Jesus.

Jesus told his friends, "It's very hard for people who love money more than God to be with God."

The man couldn't follow Jesus because he loved his money and toys MORE than Jesus. But Jesus wants to be the MOST important thing in our hearts!

We can have toys and things, but Jesus should be number ONE in our hearts! Jesus loves us SO much!

Dear Jesus, help us love you MOST of all. Amen.
