The Mother Hen (Preschool Adaptation)

Let's sing a fun song! It's called "Five Little Ducks." When I say "quack, quack, quack," you say it too! Let's practice. Ready? "Quack, quack, quack!" Good job!

Five Little Ducks

Five little ducks went out to play,
They went far, far away;
Mama duck said, "Quack, quack, quack!"
But only four ducks came back.

Four little ducks went out to play,
They went far, far away;
Mama duck said, "Quack, quack, quack!"
But only three ducks came back.

Three little ducks went out to play,
They went far, far away;
Mama duck said, "Quack, quack, quack!"
But only two ducks came back.

Two little ducks went out to play,
They went far, far away;
Mama duck said, "Quack, quack, quack!"
But only one duck came back.

One little duck went out to play,
It went far, far away;
Mama duck said, "Quack, quack, quack!"
But no little ducks came back.

Sad mama duck went looking around,
She looked all over town;
Mama duck said "Quack, quack, quack!"
And all five little ducks came back!

Yay! All the ducks came home! Do you know why mama duck kept calling? Because she loves her babies SO much! She didn't stop calling until ALL her babies came home.

Jesus loves you just like mama duck loves her babies! Jesus calls to you and says, "Come to me!" He wants to keep you safe and happy. Jesus loves ALL the children. He loves you! He loves your friends! He never stops loving you.

When mama duck called "quack, quack," her babies came home. When Jesus calls your name, you can come to Him too! He has big, loving arms to hug you!

Let's pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for loving me. Thank you for calling my name. I love you too! Amen.
