Scripture
God will bless you when others hate you and won't have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the Son of Man. Long ago your own people did these same things to the prophets. So when this happens to you, be happy and jump for joy! You will have a great reward in heaven. Luke 6:22-23 (CEV)

Do you like games? Games are fun! Today we're going to play a matching game. I have some toys and some price tags. Can you help me match them? This toy car costs one dollar. This ball costs two dollars. Good job matching!
You know what? Some things cost money, like toys and food. But do you know what the MOST special thing is? It's not toys. It's not money. The most special thing is Jesus! Jesus loves you SO much!
Jesus wants to be your best friend forever and ever. That's more special than any toy. That's more special than anything! When Jesus is your friend, you feel happy inside. When Jesus is your friend, you are loved forever.
But you know what? Being Jesus' friend is free! You don't need money. Jesus already paid for everything. He loves you THAT much! Jesus paid so you can be His friend forever.
So remember - toys are fun, but Jesus' love is the BEST thing ever. Jesus loves you more than anyone. Jesus wants to be your friend. That's the most special thing in the whole world!
Dear Jesus, thank you for loving us so much. Thank you for being our best friend. We love you too, Jesus. Amen.
