A long, long time ago, baby Jesus was born. No one knew He was coming! There were no lights or signs. But God had a special plan. God sent His baby son Jesus to us!
Jesus was born in a stable with the animals. Moo! The cows were there. Baa! The sheep were there too. Baby Jesus slept in the hay where the animals eat their food!
Christmas is when we celebrate baby Jesus' birthday! We give presents because God gave us the best present ever - baby Jesus! Jesus loves you so much!
Jesus promised He will come back again someday. We wait and watch, just like we wait for Christmas morning! We have hope because Jesus keeps His promises!
Look at our special candle! This candle reminds us to have hope. Hope means we know Jesus loves us and will take care of us. The light is bright just like Jesus!
